- Perform test design activities using risk assessment information, boundary value analysis, equivalence class partitioning, decision tables, and state diagrams to meet test objectives for low to-moderate complexity applications and systems in accordance with the department test strategy
- Perform test preparation activities including any manual test preparation, requirements elicitation, converting business rules to user stories, test data management, assessing software designs for testability, authoring integration test automations, test coverage analysis, test plan creation, reviewing tier-based test plans, and plans to mitigate feature failure risk

Responsibilities
- Perform test design activities using risk assessment information, boundary value analysis, equivalence class partitioning, decision tables, and state diagrams to meet test objectives for low to-moderate complexity applications and systems in accordance with the department test strategy
- Perform test preparation activities including any manual test preparation, requirements elicitation, converting business rules to user stories, test data management, assessing software designs for testability, authoring integration test automations, test coverage analysis, test plan creation, reviewing tier-based test plans, and plans to mitigate feature failure risk
- Understand the system data sufficiently to manage test data according to test goals and best practices
- Plan and prioritization manual and automation activities for conducting testing of each design tier using unit, component integration, functional, system integration, performance, and static analysis automation tools
- Conduct various types of tests including exploratory, regression, user acceptance, scenario based, performance, smoke, and story testing
- Manage and configure system test infrastructure including but not limited to pre-production environments, software promotion models, source code control, build with test automation, and release management
- Utilize and teach others the technical skills associated with mocking, Microsoft TSQL, tSQLt, business driven development testing tools, analysis of test results, test coverage analysis, and delivering clear test summaries and formal bug reports
Qualifications
Five or more years of related experience, education and/or training.
