IntelePeer is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director, Sales Development to join our team to help us continue our rapid growth. The Director, Sales Development will be responsible for leading and growing the BDR team, which is currently responsible for generating over 50% of our new leads. The Director, Sales Development will work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer to set and manage team goals, develop and execute on BDR strategies, and provide coaching and development to BDRs.
This position will be working out of the Dania Beach office Monday – Thursday and remote on Friday.
Responsibilities
- Set and manage team goals for lead generation, qualification, and conversion.
- Hire BDR’s to build a team that drives growth.
- Develop and execute on BDR strategies that align with the company's overall sales goals.
- Provide coaching and development to BDRs to help them achieve their goals.
- Work closely with other members of the sales team to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process.
- Track and measure BDR performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Represent the BDR team to senior management and other stakeholders.
Requirements
Education
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related area.
Expertise & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in a sales leadership role, with a demonstrated track record of success in growing and managing BDR teams.
- Strong understanding of the SaaS sales process.
- Excellent coaching and development skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with BDRs, sales leaders, and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
