We are looking for a skilled and motivated data scientist for a Knowledge Transfer Partnership between the University of Bradford and Lead Tech https://www.lead-tech.co.uk/. This is a great opportunity to use your skills to create genuine ground-breaking solutions in the financial services industry.
A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) is a three-way project between a company, a university and a recently qualified graduate or post-graduate (known as an Associate), which enables the transfer of knowledge, technology and skills to which the company currently has no access. Supported by the University, KTP Associates manage strategic projects within the company.
The focus for this project is to build a robust dynamic pricing model that uses machine learning techniques to optimise our online ad spend based on predictions of consumer intent to purchase products. Our team works in a collaborative and supportive environment where your data science skills will have a significant impact.
This is an excellent opportunity for a well-motivated and capable individual to boost his/her career by joining Lead-Tech. At the end of the project the KTP Associate may be offered the opportunity to join the company on a permanent basis.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in science, engineering, mathematics, management science or a field related to data science.
- Strong Python skills and experience with cloud platforms (we use Google Cloud Platform, but any experience with a different platform is fine too).
