Position Overview
As our Volunteer Events Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in planning and executing both online and in-person events that promote the mission and impact of WNDF. Your primary focus will be on our upcoming events in the vibrant cities of Paris, France, and Los Angeles, California, celebrating "World NGO Day - February 27th" and International Women’s Day 2024, with online events preceding them.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Planning Lead the planning and organization of online and in-person events, ensuring they align with WNDF's mission and objectives.
- Coordination Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate all event logistics, including venues, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers.
- Budget Management Manage event budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effective planning and execution.
- Program Development Work with content creators to develop event programs, including agenda planning, panel discussions, and guest speaker arrangements.
- Online Event Management Plan and execute online events, webinars, and virtual metaverse conferences, leveraging digital platforms for global reach.
- Timeline Adherence Ensure all event planning and execution adhere to established timelines and deadlines.
- Documentation Maintain comprehensive records of event details, expenses, and outcomes for reporting and analysis.
Requirements
- Proven experience in planning and managing in-person and online events.
- Ability to quickly adapt and work with Artificial Intelligence platforms.
- An understanding of VR / Metaverse event opportunities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Flexible and adaptable to evolving event needs.
- Available for a minimum of 3 month, with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
