Our client is a stock market-listed disruptive imaging and AI technology start-up pivotal in the advancement of wound analysis and increase in efficiency of clinical intervention. They are now looking to break into the UK market and have asked us to secure them a UK Marketing Lead.
In their collaborative, free-thinking and creative culture, this is a pivotal new role launching the product in the UK, centred on developing and implementing marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Developing product positioning, messaging, marketing materials and budget
- Develop pricing strategy, achieving goals and target margins
- Conduct market research to assess and create a competitive analysis
- Develop quality-controlled sales training and introduction courses in conjunction with Clinical Team
- Identify, develop and manage KOLs
- Plan, implement, manage and run external events, including conferences and exhibitions
- Monitor sales forecasting in the UK and demand planning in the US
- Ensure all branding is correct to guidelines
- Fields visits to keep in touch sales team and clinical staff
- Provide customer feedback to US upstream team
- Maintain knowledge of relevant clinical areas and new developments in this area
Required Experience
- Experience in Downstream Marketing in Medical Devices / MedTech
- Experience in the wound or burn care market,
- Experience in sales of Medical Devices / MedTech
- Strong understanding of the NHS / UK healthcare market
- Excellent KOL advocation development skills
- Working on understanding branding and management
- Willingness to travel around UK and Europe as the company grows
Largely office based in London with some field visits when necessary and regular liaison with the US office.
