Are you looking for a position that offers a rewarding lifelong career filled with new and exciting challenges? P&G is looking for an Innovation Center Engineering - Research Specialist - Power and Controls Technician.
Provide Power, Control and Information Systems (PC&IS) services to the R&D community through the support of existing processes and projects. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the following:
Design, installation and maintenance of Process Research Laboratory equipment.
Electrical power, controls, instrumentation and programming support of projects.
Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems, process systems and instrumentation.
Troubleshoot and maintain variable frequency drives and control systems.
Wiring of Industrial Control Panels and associated devices.
Preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment.
Electrical Design Implementation - codes and standards
Working understanding of NEC, NFPA 70, 70E, UL 508A, AutoCad, ladder diagrams, electrical schematics.
Experience in the following areas is beneficial. Additional training will be available as required.
Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC and Panelview HMI systems, Powerflex frequency drives and Kinetix motion control.
Orchestra, Opera, FT Batch and Feedmaster
Working knowledge of communication networks (Remote I/O, Controlnet, Ethernet, Devicenet and Modbus)
PLC/HMI programming & Troubleshooting
Job Qualifications
Technical program or equivalent work experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
